Okay.. so I’m starting to think these life via instagram posts are going to be a regular occurrence. As I don’t own a nice camera this is definitely the easiest way to post pictures on here. My last week has been lovely, we had some rainy days which of course made them reading days, so I’ve started reading The Great Gatsby again in preparation for the movie. Spent time in lovely little cafe’s having breakfast and much needed gossip sessions with some of my favourite’s. Making wishes at 11:11, and embracing the winter sun with pops of cheery, bright colourful accessories.
This week is also uber exciting, on Friday I’m turning 20 (which I’m not really sure how I feel about), on Saturday I have my university graduation and my little brother’s formal, and then birthday and graduation celebrations that night! There will definitely be lot’s of pictures taken so I’ll make sure to upload some.

Instagram, is definitely my favourite app at the moment… and has been for quite some time now. I have posted a little bit through instagram lately, as it’s just such an easy quick way to update and give little insights to my day.
The past week has been very cruisy, coming back from my holiday I felt really sluggish and a bit yucky, so I’ve kick started up going to the gym and eating healthy again, it’s so nice to be back into a routine and it’s crazy how much a difference just a few days can make you feel.
I also decided to rearrange my room… a common boredom occurrence for me, and I’m really happy with how it turned out, lots of flowers, white and lots of pillows. I feel like I’m living in a little (semi-colourful) cloud.

back to reality.
I arrived home from my amazing overseas adventure just two days ago, and it’s safe to say I’m already longing to go back and wander through Paris’ pretty little streets, fairy tale gardens, and beautiful boutiques. Living in Australia, and not in a major city, most of where I live is wide open spaces, and going to Paris it was so nice to be able to walk instead of drive to almost all of the places we deemed explorable. There is also nothing quite like the Parisian attention to beauty, from the architecture of the buildings, to the way food is served, and of course the meticulous way in which french women and men dress, it’s easy to see how so many people fall in love with this magical city (I may be guilty of this)…
I’ll leave you with a few snaps from my trip, none of which can sum up the true beauty of being in Paris, but I hope they inspire you to add a little French flair into your everyday life as they have for myself…

This time next week, I will be last-minutely packing an overflowing suitcase and preparing to board a plane to Paris. To say I’m beyond excited is a hideous understatement, I have literally been counting down the last six weeks, and can’t wait for my adventure to finally start. In my extreme excitement I have planned out a list of must-do’s for my trip…

Indulge in decadent delicacies at Laduree.
Float through beautiful flower markets.
Visit the famed halls of the Chateau of Versailles
Go shopping for luxurious French lingerie.

Ponderings…
So I’m thinking that now I’ve finished my degree… and am yet to find a full-time job I might make my tumblr a little more personal.
So I guess I’ll start with a little bit about myself. My name is Lauren (as you may have already guessed) and I’m a 19 year old girl from Queensland, Australia, who has very recently completed a Bachelor of Communications (Business) with majors in Public Relations and Marketing.
I haven’t properly blogged in a little while, so it might take a little time to get into the swing of things again! But what I’m likely to be posting about are the everyday things that inspire me, fashion I am currently lusting after, interior design, pretty little nothings, cooking, baking and anything in between that takes my fancy.
